Beginner Weaving on a Rigid Heddle Loom Learn to weave a scarf on a Rigid Heddle Loom! Rigid Heddle Looms are designed for a quick and simple method of creating woven cloth using vertical(warp) and horizontal (weft) yarns. Instruction will be given on warping your loom for an 8” wide scarf, learning to prepare your shuttles, weaving and removing your finished scarf from the loom. Handouts will be provided. Join us for two sessions on Saturday, November 7 and 14th , 2:00 – 4:00. Please bring a total of 250+ yards of yarn. Two different colors create a nice contrast. Lion Brand Hometown is a suggested soft acrylic bulky yarn for beginner weavers and is very affordable at Walmart or Michael's with a large color selection.
