Six albums into their lauded career, the Claudettes (of Chicago) continue to put a fascinating new spin on American roots music. Blues and R&B are laced with punk spirit and film-noir moods to create the band’s singular “garage cabaret” sound. The Claudettes have earned worldwide acclaim with their recordings and concerts that are equal parts heart, musicianship and theatrical flair. Force-of-nature vocalist Rachel Williams (who dominates the stage like a glam-rock rebirth of Annie Lennox and renowned pianist/songwriter Johnny Iguana join the positively heroic rhythm section of Zach Verdoorn (bass, guitar, vocals) and Liz Ele (drums). Outside the Claudettes, Iguana has toured with Junior Wells and Otis Rush, played on many Grammy-nominated albums and recorded with Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Derek Trucks, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Johnny Winter and more. Johnny is also composer of the score for the Emmy-winning smash FX/Hulu series “The Bear.”

Friday Night LIVE at the Emporium is a community favorite.

Every Friday Night at 6:30pm, Emporium Wines & Underdog Café hosts a winetasting event with LIVE MUSIC. A curated variety of Natural & Traditional Wines is selected for the event, and guests are able to taste, discover, and learn about new wine options. Select from single tastes or flights of four of the wine category of your choice. Present your ticket to our wine expert, and let them tell you about the selections available for the evening. If you love the wine that you tasted, take a bottle home.

Then, at 7:00pm, the band will take the stage to JAM OUT! From rock, to fold, to hip hop - Friday Nights present music and entertainment for ALL.

With a continued mission of supporting local artists & musicians, 100% of the entry fee is given directly to the evening’s band and talent.

Doors open at 6:30pm.Entertainment begins at 7pm.
