Fireside with Andrew & Lauren White

About this event

What does it take to bring humanity back to an increasingly digital and disconnected world?

Lauren and Andrew White are the Co-Owners of Indigo Life Media, a Dayton-based production company celebrating 20 years of storytelling. Creative entrepreneurs and community connectors, they began by volunteering and leading community service projects before becoming partners in life and business in 2014. Their work includes co-founding Nucleus, Dayton’s first coworking space; creating the Voices Project series, featured in Forbes and HuffPost; developing the Dayton history series Decoding Dayton and its nationally award-winning spinoff Decoding Nature; and producing the nationwide touring podcast Tonight’s Conversation.

Lauren and Andrew believe they are more than a video production company. For them, life and work are expressions of the same values: creativity, connection, and the idea that who we are being matters just as much as what we are doing.

In this conversation, we’ll explore:

• How a partnership built on volunteering grew into 20 years of storytelling

• What they learned co-founding Nucleus, Dayton’s first coworking space

• How they decide which stories are worth telling, from Dayton history to a national audience

• Why entertainment-driven stories can bring people back to connection

Whether you’re a business owner, a creative, or simply someone who cares about Dayton’s story, you’ll leave with a fresh view on the power of storytelling.

If you care about Dayton’s story, or about telling your own, this is a conversation worth your Wednesday.
